Samsung leads in Indian Smartphone market with a vast majority of 34.3 percent. Over the years, Chinese electronics giant, Samsung, has released several Smartphone targeting all segments of the Indian market. Its latest addition to the Galaxy series, A7, is focused at high-end users.

Samsung is all set to launch its new S6 at mobile world congress, to be held in March at Barcelona. In the midst of several rumors related to S6, Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy J1 for the Indian Smartphone market. Galaxy J1 is entirely focused on mid-segment of Indian consumers.

# Asus Pegasus X002


According to reports, ASUS shipped 3 million tablets in the fourth quarter of 2014, which is 24.9 percent less than what Asus usually ships. However, even though Asus is not performing to its maximum potential, still, Asus is trying to get a hold of the market by launching Pegasus X002.

With Asus still trying to understand the dynamic Indian Smartphone market, it is planning to launch the high-end Zenfone 2. Asus dropped the price of Zenfone 5 on republic day as a strategy to make up for its loss. IDC reported Asus to be at fourth position in India for manufacturing tablets.

Chinese telecommunications giant, HTC, is all set to launch Desire 626 as well as Desire 826 for Indian market. HTC reported a profit of 25 to 36 percent in its sales for 2014 by targeting several market segments globally. Desire 626 targets mid-segment of Indian Smartphone market.
