Android Jelly Bean Tablets This Season


Tablets are being sold like hot cakes in the market these days. From superior Google Nexus tablets to a widely considered Indian branded ones, these gadgets have made a way into most of our lives claiming ultimate end results.
If you’re looking for a great Android tablet, there are plenty you can choose for the moment. This doesn’t mean that all of them are worth buying, as some of them have their own disadvantages. However, here is a list of 8 Android Jelly Bean tablets that are worth considering this season.

Asus MeMO Pad ME172V

With a price of 9,999 Asus brings to us a tablet with a 7 inch display that sports a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels,  offering 10 point multi-touch. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, this device is said to offer full support for Google Play.

Powered by a 1GHz processor which seems to be a disadvantage, this latest tablet from Asus has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB with microSD support. There is a 1 MP camera to the Wi-Fi enabled device and we can find a 4270mAh battery on-board. But there is no SIM slot.


Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010

Spice had recently launched its tablet in the market with a price tag of  12,999. The device is backed by a 1.5GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the tablet has 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

On the outside, we can find a massive 10.1 inch HD screen along with a 3 MP rear camera shooter and a VGA front camera on-board.  Claiming decent display and viewing angles as an added advantage, Spice has a 7600 mAh battery for which the company claims that it can play video for 6 hours with a standby of 15 days.
However, the only drawback we can find in here is the lack of Bluetooth connectivity.

Karbonn Smart Tab Fone A37 Kommunicate 3G

As seen above this tablet comes with a hilariously long name, but what needs to be noticed is the specs that it has to offer.

The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean sporting a 7 inch capacitive display with WVGA resolution. Powered by a 1GHz dual core processor and 512MB of RAM the device stands a bit aloof with 4GB of internal memory capacity. But this can be further expanded to 32GB with microSD support. There is a 2MP rear camera and front VGA camera to the device.
The dual SIM tablet allows internet and voice calling facility and holds a 3000 mAh battery which should last longer as we consider the specs and the price which is  9490.


Samsung Galaxy Tab2311

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2311 packs a 1GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can expand up to 32GB via microSD card.

Regarding its appearance, the device sports a 7 inch PLS TFT LCD display with a 1024 x 600pixel resolution featuring a 3MP rear and a VGA front camera. With connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the device is priced at 13,900.


Acer Iconia B1-A71

With a price tag of 7999 Acer Iconia Bi-A71 sports a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The device features a 0.3 MP front camera and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Under the hood, we can find a 1.2GHz dual core Mediatek processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can expand up to 32GB with microSD card support. On the connectivity front, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB are some of the features in the device.


Lava Etab Xtron

Lava Etab Xtron comes with a 1.5 GHz Cortex A9 dual core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and permits expandable internal storage capacity up to 32GB from 8GB.

The 7 inch display that the tablet weighs sports a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and features a 2MP front camera.
The Wi-Fi enabled device contains a 3500 mAh battery and is priced overall at 6499.


Google Nexus 7

In connection with Asus, Google has come up with Nexus 7 aiming to give a whole new tablet experience to its users. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, this tablet houses a 1.2 GHz quad core CPU, with 1GB of RAM and 16 and 32GB versions of onboard storage facility.

Weighing a 7 inch display of 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the device sports a 1.2 MP front facing camera and packs a 4325 mAh battery. Online portals are currently selling the device for 16,999.


Google Nexus 10

Samsung and Google moved in together to bring out the ultimate highly portable and powerful device that runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Flaunting a 10 inch display of 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, Nexus 10 packs a blazing fast dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM.

The Wi-Fi enabled device features a 5 MP main camera and a 1.9 MP front snapper and houses a whopping 9000 mAh battery for performance. The tablet is available in 16 and 32GB internal storage capacity versions and is priced at 34, 413.

Micromax Launches New Canvas 2 Plus A110Q For Rs.12, 100

Micromax is again all over the news, with the launch of its new Canvas 2 Plus A110Q, this time adding another Smartphone to its Canvas series in India. The device was unveiled on Wednesday, with a price tag of  12,100.



Coming to the specs, Micromax has housed a MediaTek Quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1GB of RAM. Flaunting with its 5 inch IPS display that offers visuals in 480 x 854p resolution, the device runs Android’s Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. There is an 8MP front camera with dual LED flash and a front-mounted webcam of 2MP.
