eSimply Office Release An Android App "Simply Office"


eSimply Office, a Startup in the enterprise mobility space has released an Android App that provides enterprise users a productive environment for their smart devices with an intuitive and simple user interface. It is available on Google Play for free.

Imagine a person reaching office with his android based consumer mobile or tablet. He just clicks a button on his mobile and the mobile completely changes the profile to provide the enterprise functionality that he would have normally expected on his laptop. The user does not even have to buy an expensive new tablet like Surface to get enterprise features. When he reaches home again after a day’s work, he just clicks on the “Home” button to get back to his consumer profile. This is the vision of “Simply office” app that allows users the complete connectivity to the enterprise on their preferred gadget.

Consumer tablet and smart phones have seen lot of innovation over the last couple of years. We have seen tablets of all form factors and from different companies. In addition, the app ecosystem is quite well developed for android and apple. We can see lot of apps in the app store which people can consume and use in their day to day life


Enterprise space has not seen breakthrough innovation in the mobility space. In addition, there is no tablet or smartphone specifically catering to the enterprise users. In addition, a new trend that is emerging is “Bring your own devices to office (BYOD)”. This trend is important because consumers just love their consumer mobile gadgets and would like to use them in their office to improve productivity.


Simply office is a breakthrough innovation in the world of Mobile apps. The First Ever Android Laptop Emerges From Lenovo

Lenovo, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced world’s first Android-powered laptop, A10. The company has not yet revealed the pricing and availability of the new device but reports say that it will vary per region.


Lenovo A10 laptop runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and features AccuType keyboard with dedicated Android keys for home, back, multitask, settings among others. It is designed with 10.1-inch HD touch screen display with 1366x768 pixels resolution. The touch screen display can be flipped around 300 degrees in stand and features Lenovo's popular stable hinge and 'fold-back' design. It also has a 0.3-MP webcam along with stereo speakers. The A10 laptop weighs less than a kilogram and measures about 17.3mm at its thickest point, as per the company.


A10 is powered by a quad-core RK3188 Cortex-A9 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz. Its battery supports up to 9 hours of video playback on a single charge. It also features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD card expansion support, two USB 2.0 ports and one HDMI port.

ASUS India today unveiled the Transformer Book TX300 – World’s thinnest Window 8 tablet and detachable Notebook.  The ASUS Transformer Book will be available in India at an MRP of 91,999/- across select ASUS authorized retail outlets starting second week of July 2013.

The ASUS Transformer Book is a 13.3-inch notebook with a detachable tablet which has a Full HD IPS Touch panel and a 178 Degree viewing angle.

It comes with an Intel Core i5 processor for an outstanding notebook and tablet performance. Separate storage has been provided for the notebook and tablet with a high-capacity hard drive and an Ultra-fast SSD. The ASUS Transformer Book is available with Windows 8 Professional. Tablets Beat PC's In Sales For First Time In 2013: Report

Bangalore: Tablets are expected to outdo desktop computers for the first time in 2013. This has been reported by a research from International Data Cooperation (IDC), where they have stated that the number of tablets sold this year is expected to increase by almost 50 percent, to over 190 million units.


The continuous rise on sales of tablets however means that it  will also outdo laptop computers according to a report by the Telegraph.

Reports have also emphasized on the Smartphone market’s growth by 27 percent. This is due to the number of units sold, which crossed over 900 million units.



IDC has also predicted that by 2017over 350 million tablets will be sold every year, almost closing the gap to the estimated 1.5 billion Smartphones that were to be sold last year.


On the either side, the sale of desktop PCs is in gentle decline while laptop computer sales are slightly stable worldwide increasing gradually in well established markets.
